IAESTE Turkey Headquarters organized the 5th IAESTE Asia Forum at the Istanbul Technical University Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center between October 8-10, 2015. 20 people representing 7 countries attended this meeting, where the activities of Asian countries within IAESTE were discussed, and strategies for increasing the mutual exchange of internship placements and students—both among themselves and with European countries—were evaluated.

In addition to the Turkey National Committee, representatives from Istanbul Technical University and Yıldız Technical University, and student club representatives from these two universities representing our country, the other participating countries were Oman, Pakistan, Thailand, China, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines. As a result of the meeting, which was also attended by Günter Müller-Graetschel from the Central Board of Directors, an agreement was reached on certain proposals to be presented at the General Conference to be held in Prague in January, and a decision was made to undertake initiatives to increase communication among Asian countries.
