The IAESTE Türkiye Representatives Meeting was held on 14 May 2026 at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center, hosted by Istanbul Technical University (ITU).

The meeting brought together 29 representatives from more than 25 member universities. Representing ITU were Vice Rector Prof. İpek Akın Karadayı, International Relations Coordinator Prof. Esra Çapanoğlu Güven, IAESTE Türkiye National Secretary Prof. Gülhayat Nasün Saygılı, IAESTE Türkiye Central Office Coordinator Lecturer Cahit Okan, and Chief Officer Yasemin Aras, together with IAESTE representatives from member universities across Türkiye.

As one of the world’s leading technical universities, Istanbul Technical University continues to play a pioneering role in internationalization and the international exchange of technical trainees. Serving as the IAESTE National Office for Türkiye since 1955, ITU has been organizing the IAESTE Türkiye Representatives Meeting on a regular basis to ensure the sustainable implementation of the international internship exchange programme and to strengthen cooperation among member institutions.
