On the IAESTE Exchange Platform; COBE (Continuous Online-Based Exchange) and FCFS (First Come First Served) forms are updated frequently. You can find the difference between these forms published by different countries and the one-to-one exchange quotas in the explanations on the Outgoing Students page.
Different from the one-to-one exchange method; in COBE type internship applications, the publishing country collects candidates from various countries, presents 3 of them to the employer, and the employer selects the most suitable candidate. Subsequently, the sending country is notified whether the student is accepted or not. Therefore, the acceptance of the applicant student depends on standing out among other candidates and thus requires the preparation of a high-quality application form.

Applications will be forwarded to the relevant countries by IAESTE Turkey; for each COBE form, applications must be delivered to our office by the Representatives at least 1 day before the "Deadline" specified on that form.
The deadline on the form is the date the office must send the applications, therefore forms arriving on the last day will not be considered! Please pay extra attention to days coinciding with the weekend.
Only 1 candidate from each university can be considered; therefore, candidate students are kindly requested not to wait until the last day for applications to be sent to Representatives. Our IAESTE Representatives have the right to choose the most suitable one among the applications they receive.
In case of multiple applications for the same form, the student's year of study, GPA, and English exam score will be taken into account. The diligence and consistency of the student's application and their University's activity within IAESTE are also points of consideration. We only have the chance to send 1 Turkish candidate for each form. Priority will be given to students who currently have no other applications.
When applications are forwarded to our e-mail address by our representatives, the reference number of the applied form and the candidate student's full name must be specified in the subject line. You can visit the forms page for the documents to be used in applications.
You can access the details of the forms and deadline information by registering on the iaeste.net platform. However, applications cannot be submitted through the said Platform!
